About Kayalight Studios

About Our Creatives

Based in East London, Kayalight Studios was established in 2011. Our aim is to produce fully integrated concept led visual solutions. We specialise in a variety of creative practices including film, animation, motion graphics, sound, interactive media and design. This enables us to see a project from conception through to production with multiple outputs across a range of media.

A key principle of Kayalight studios is to collaborate and utilise our skills to help promote projects that are trying to help the world move to a more sustainable future. This is why we fund, develop, direct and produce our own in-house projects that range from socially conscious documentaries to innovative learning apps for tablets and smart phones.

Our Creatives have worked across a variety of media including film, animation, motion graphics, design, live performance and installation. We have freelanced on projects for companies including Big Dada, Warner Music, Rough Trade, Adidas, Burberry, Topshop, H&M, and musicians such as the Stereo MCs, Super Furry Animals, Buraka Som Sistima and Bat for Lashes.

Winning awards from Kodak and D&AD, our practice is complemented by giving lectures in sound design, animation and interface design.
